2024 was a big year for us in a number of ways. We’ve had a few successful collaborations and a number of honorable awards – but perhaps most importantly, we were hard at work on our platform. This year, we rolled out a series of exciting updates and new features aimed at making influencer marketing smarter, faster, and more accessible for everyone. From enhanced reporting tools to game-changing integrations, these updates are designed to streamline your workflow and give you even more powerful insights. Here's a look at our top 10 updates and launches that shaped the year.
Growth of our influencer database
Let’s kick things off with one of our most popular features: our ever-expanding influencer database. This year, we hit a major milestone – HypeAuditor now boasts over 170 million influencer accounts across all platforms!
The bulk of this is made up of TikTok accounts, at over 100 million, while Instagram comes in with more than 40 million. It’s safe to say that no matter your campaign goals, there’s no shortage of creators to discover and collaborate with.
This growth means even more opportunities for brands to find the perfect fit, whether you’re targeting micro-influencers or global stars.
Niche Search functionality
We know finding the right influencer can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack – especially if your brand operates in a super-specific niche. That’s why this year, we introduced a much-needed upgrade to our search functionality: AI-powered niche search.
This feature digs deeper than ever, analyzing not just bios and post captions but also visual content to capture themes that aren’t always spelled out. Think of it as a way to find those yoga influencers who embody the vibe without necessarily writing it in their profiles.
It’s also smarter about keywords, interpreting related terms and synonyms so you don’t miss out on creators just because they phrased something differently. And for anyone tired of wading through overly broad categories, this tool offers laser-focused targeting. You’ll find creators who genuinely fit your needs instead of spending hours sifting through generic results.
While we first launched Niche Search for Instagram, we later introduced this functionality for TikTok. You can search by niche or specific keywords, with a dropdown menu of pre-set queries to make getting started a breeze. Plus, TikTok results now come with flexible sorting options – so whether you want to rank by relevance, popularity, or something else entirely, the choice is yours.
This has quickly become one of our favorite updates – helping brands uncover influencers who truly fit their audience, no matter how specific the niche.

Media Plans overhaul
Campaign briefs are essential for planning, estimating budgets, and showcasing value to clients or stakeholders. This year, we overhauled our Media Plans to make them more collaborative and user-friendly.
Now, you can approve or reject influencers directly in the plan, with all key details – like pricing and content specifics for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube – at your fingertips. Real-time notifications keep everyone in the loop on updates, approvals, or comments, while historical tracking lets you monitor changes and revert statuses as needed.
We’ve also added customizable metrics, allowing you to edit influencer data like location, follower count, and engagement stats. Changes are clear and reversible, ensuring transparency and precision in every campaign.
This upgrade transforms Media Plans into a central hub for seamless campaign planning and collaboration.
Downloads and exports
This has been a highly requested feature for a long time, and we’ve rolled it out this year! You can now export Campaign Management reports in PPTX format, making it easy to edit and customize your downloads like a regular presentation.
We’ve also introduced entirely new PDF Media Plans that largely mirror the updated media plans, containing the same detailed information. These, too, can now be downloaded in PPTX format, giving you even more flexibility to adapt your reports to fit your needs.

The launch of TikTok Basic Reports
Possibly one of our most exciting introductions this year was our TikTok "Basic Reports" which are designed to give you more value upfront. The goal is to help you make quicker, smarter decisions when considering influencer collaborations. With Basic Reports, you’ll now get instant access to key metrics like engagement rate, reach, account growth, and brand mentions. This means you can evaluate the potential of an influencer right away, without having to wait for a full report to be generated.
The value of this update is twofold: It adds immediate usefulness to the preview reports, giving you a clearer picture of an influencer's performance early in the process. Plus, it enhances the overall product experience by providing quicker insights, which is especially important when you’re on a tight timeline.
Furthermore, we’ve integrated basic technical TikTok reports into influencer reports. Now, if you request a full report on an influencer, but we don’t have all the data right away, you won’t have to wait for hours to gather it. Instead, we’ll instantly display the minimal data we’ve collected in just a few seconds – so you can start working with the insights right away. This update makes the process smoother and faster, helping you make the best decisions, faster.
YouTube report changes
We’ve also rolled out YouTube Basic Reports, similar to the TikTok reports mentioned earlier. This update allows users to immediately access key data without having to request a full report. Now, you can make decisions based on a basic set of data that’s available to you instantly at no cost.
In addition, we’ve revamped the YouTube report overview to make things even clearer. Metrics like average views, average engagement, and engagement rate are now separated into two categories: videos and shorts. You’ll get these metrics for the last 30 posts, with a breakdown of differences for the past 30 days, giving you a better understanding of how performance is trending across different formats.
Finally, we’ve also added a Livestream section to YouTube reports. Now, you can see livestream content and its metrics alongside full videos and shorts. This helps you get a more complete picture of an influencer's content, including their live stream activity, which is growing in popularity.
Additions to Instagram reports
We’ve added a new feature to Instagram Reports that lets you see when influencers are collaborating with other influencers or brands. This update helps you easily identify partnerships and understand who’s working together, giving you a clearer view of influencer relationships and collaborations.
Media Monitor Launch
One of the brand-new tools we released this year, Media Monitor, helps you stay on top of everything happening around your brand, competitors, and industry trends. This content-tracking tool allows you to create custom feeds from Instagram posts, YouTube videos, TikTok reels, and more, based on specific handles, hashtags, or keywords.
We wanted brands and marketers to have a way to stay informed about relevant conversations and content as they unfold. For example, you can respond quickly to both positive feedback and concerns about your brand. You can also monitor your competitors' activities, gaining valuable insights into their strategies. This tool is also great for discovering user-generated content (UGC) that audiences love, which can be used for future campaigns.
To get started, you simply create a new feed by entering the handles, hashtags, or keywords you want to track – for example, @ZARA, @FashionNova, or #outfitoftheday. Your feed then populates with related content, and you can filter it by post type, date, and more. Multiple feeds can be created to keep track of different topics or campaigns, making it easy to stay organized.

After launch, we added a few updates to enhance the experience. You can now identify high-performing content with the “Best Performance” label, which highlights posts with significantly higher Engagement Rates (ER). We’ve also added sorting and filtering options, allowing you to organize posts by ER, publication date, content type, or mentions. Additionally, a Saved Posts Collection has been added, keeping track of all posts you’ve saved in one place for easy access.

Improved campaign reports
Users with the campaign report feature in the Campaign Management (CM) hub can now view campaign analytics with no report unlocks required. Previously, this feature was only available for individual users, but now it’s been extended to all paying CM users, giving everyone more immediate access to campaign data.
To take advantage of this feature, users simply need to add at least three influencers to the campaign. Once that’s done, campaign analytics will be available right away, without having to unlock additional reports. A banner notification will alert users when they can start viewing the data.
Beta integration with Zapier
The final update of this list is our beta integration with Zapier, which we introduced earlier this year. This integration allows you to connect HypeAuditor with thousands of popular apps, making it easier to automate your workflows and save time. No coding is required – just a few clicks and you can streamline your processes.
Currently, the integration supports receiving Instagram report data, which can be easily transferred into other tools you’re already using. While this is just the beginning, we plan to expand the integration to other platforms and tools based on user feedback and demand.
For users who requested the ability to integrate HypeAuditor with CRM systems, mailing lists, or Google Sheets, this update makes it simple to connect those tools on your own. It’s a great way to automate routine tasks and focus more on what truly matters.
Conclusion
And that’s a wrap on our 10 biggest updates for 2024! It’s been a year of change, and we’re excited about everything we’ve rolled out to help you get the most out of HypeAuditor. As we look forward to 2025, we can’t wait to bring you even more features to keep you ahead of the curve. Thanks for being with us on this journey – here’s to another year of growth, innovation, and success together!
